The replica of this bayonet was made of zinc and aluminium alloy, so-called Zamac. This is short bayonet, with back arm of cross-guard allowed to installed by barrel on bayonet stud of M1 Garand. The appearance is similar to combat dagger and it could be used like it by US Army and their alliances. The long and double-edged blade with short top allowed to made fast and deadly thrusts. The reliable weapon in a close contact battle, in situations when cannot used fire gun. Besides military function it could be used also as a tool to cut or opening cans.
